The Last

You look through me by a faded glass
The drop of snow on a chilly winter morning
And when I wake in silence, there is this void
A void, a void silenced by the chaos
the chaos of memories left far behind
the memories faded like the melting snow
on my faded window glass
You took me with you, the day you left
And I, I stood still like a block of wax
Hardened by the winter, covered by the snow
Waiting long to be melted amidst the warm of your love
And then, suddenly you came, to leave me again
On the same winter morning, and I stood through the dark
waiting across the same faded glass, in this void

A void, embracing my deafening silence

UNNAMED

The thought of it, reminds me hard
That the glimmer of the light
My summer will come home, someday

Because it has always been like this
Between you and me, the distance
That I sometimes respect
& that I sometimes regret
Yet the distance is what makes it a life

Between you and me!
